Audio CDs are still needed for old Music Players.
We need to convert our MP3 files to WAV format and then burn them into CD.
But, why we have to do the conversion job, when there is a K3B?
k3b should do this work automatically and then burn into Audio CD.
Let us try.
Oh God. It show some error as
Mp3 Audio Decoder plugin not found.
K3b could not load or find the Mp3 decoder plugin. This means that you
will not be able to create Audio CDs from Mp3 files. Many Linux
distributions do not include Mp3 support for legal reasons.
Solution: To enable Mp3 support, please install the MAD Mp3 decoding
library as well as the K3b MAD Mp3 decoder plugin (the latter may
already be installed but not functional due to the missing libmad).
Some distributions allow installation of Mp3 support via an online
update tool (i.e. SuSE’s YOU).
What to do now?
We have to install MP3 plugin for k3b.
sudo apt-get install libk3b2-mp3
In Debian and Ubuntu boxes, give the above command.
Now, our k3b is ready to burn the MP3 files into Audio CD directly.
