Exploring Functional Programming

The goal is to get a glimpse of the ‘functional way’ of doing things. As a teaser, in the FP way of doing things you cannot change the value of a `variable’ This is a personal perspective of what is interesting and fascinating in FP.

Speaker will be using Python to explore FP. He hopes to show a bit of Haskell too, but Python will be the bulk of it.
