Free Software Foundation, Tamil Nadu, presents a two days workshop on the Philosophy of Free Software.
The following topics will be discussed.

– GNU project and Manifesto
– Ownership of Software
– Open source and Free software
– Patents
– CopyLeft
– Licenses

Days: 7th & 8th of Jan 2012

Time: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Place: University of Madras, Chepauk.

The workshop venue has been changed to,

ICSA Programme Centre,
Pantheon Road,
Opposite to Connemara Library (or) National Museum,
Egmore.

We are regret to inform you that we would be charging 100 Rs. as registration fee.
Unfortunately the University of Madras venue(which was free) has been changed due to its internal university events to this new venue(which is paid).

We believe this would be an opportunity where Geeks, Beginners, Newbies, attain the next level.
