Good book scanners required

We are planning to digitize a old private library which has around 100000 public domain books.

To preserve them, we are looking for good high end scanners.

I got the info about http://mini.atiz.com/

Is there any other good scanner for such huge work?

Please share your thoughts on this.

Thanks a lot.

  1. Dear Shrinivasan, book2net scanners might be interesting for you (please check the kiosk A2/A3): http://book2net.net/en.html
Top high end book scanners when it comes to the efficiency (scan+save takes < 2 seconds) and robustness (rotary disc shutter is the only mechanical part, way better than shutters from DSLRs mounted in ATIZ).

    Best regards,
    Pete
